Use this form for corrections, source suggestions, and site questions. MyCarePrice is a small editorial operation that publishes Medicare payment anchors and billing guides, so the most useful message is a specific one: the page address, the figure or sentence you think is wrong, and the public source that shows the right answer. We read every message, and a message that cites a CMS file, a Federal Register notice, or an official state portal gets checked against that source first.
Please do not include your diagnosis, medical records, insurance member number, date of birth, or a bill with personal identifiers. We cannot use them, and the site is not set up to hold health information. Describe the line item or code instead (for example, "CPT 70551 on the MRI page shows a PFS global anchor of $192.65 but the CMS file I checked shows a different amount").
What to contact us about
- Corrections: a CPT code, dollar figure, source, or explanation that looks wrong. Include the page URL and, if you have it, the correct CMS source.
- Source suggestions: a public CMS or authoritative source we should verify for an anchor that is currently unpublished.
- Site issues: a broken link, accessibility problem, or display error. Include the page URL and your browser.
What we cannot do
- We cannot provide diagnosis, treatment, or advice about whether you should get a procedure.
- We cannot quote a cash price for a specific hospital, center, or office. Only that facility's billing office can confirm your price in writing before service.
- We cannot file a billing dispute or negotiate a bill on your behalf. See the Good Faith Estimate guide for the federal process.
What happens after you write
- Response time: we aim to reply to corrections and source suggestions within about seven days. A reply is not guaranteed for every message, and messages that ask for medical advice or a facility quote will usually get a short pointer to the right place rather than an answer.
- Corrections: we compare your report with the primary source, fix confirmed errors, update the verified date on the affected page and data record, and log material changes. The full process is on the About page and in the methodology.
- Privacy: we use your name and email only to reply. See the privacy policy.
If you need something we do not do
- A price for a specific facility: call that facility's billing office and ask for the all-in price for the exact CPT code in writing. The cash price guide has the wording.
- A bill that looks wrong: start with the itemized bill guide, then contact the billing office and your insurer.
- An estimate that was not provided or was exceeded by $400 or more: see the Good Faith Estimate guide and the federal No Surprises Act help desk at 1-800-985-3059, which CMS lists for questions about these protections.
- A medical question or emergency: speak to your clinician. In an emergency call your local emergency number.
For a price before service, use the billing checklist and contact the facility directly.
