What this site is

MyCarePrice provides general information about outpatient procedure prices, including verified Medicare rate anchors and explanations of facility-type payment differences. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Not medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. The site does not publish content about whether any person should obtain any procedure or test. Care decisions belong with you and your clinician. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

Price information limits

Medicare anchors shown on this site are historical payment amounts from the named CMS sources and verification dates printed on each page. They are not your price, not a quote, not an insurance allowed amount, and not a prediction of any facility's cash price. Actual charges depend on the exact CPT code billed, the setting, geography, payer contracts, and what happens on the day of service.

The standing instruction on every price page is: confirm your price in writing before service. You are responsible for obtaining and confirming your own price from the facility that will provide the service.

Self-pay ranges are published only where verifiable from a public source under our method. Absence of a self-pay range means it has not been verified, not that the price is zero or equal to the Medicare anchor.

No provider relationship

Use of this site or emailing hello@mycareprice.com does not create a clinician-patient, billing-advocacy, legal, or financial advisory relationship. We do not negotiate bills, file disputes, or contact facilities on your behalf.

Accuracy and corrections

We work to keep CPT codes, figures, and sources accurate and traceable. Errors can occur when CMS revises files or when a locality differs from the published anchor. Confirmed errors are corrected under the corrections policy described on the About page. You should verify any figure you intend to rely on against the primary CMS source linked or named on the page and against the facility's written quote.

Intellectual property

Site text and design are the work of MyCarePrice. CPT codes and descriptors are used to identify procedures and remain the property of their respective owners. Medicare payment data are public information from CMS. You may print pages for personal use in arranging your own care, including the billing checklist.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyCarePrice is not liable for decisions made or bills incurred in reliance on general price information on this site without an independent written quote from the providing facility. The site is provided as general information only.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new last-updated date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
